Its Been A Long Time Since I Left You...

'Ello to the very few and far between that glance over the pages of this very well neglected blog. I have been attempting to keep up with my schooling and poem writing and trying not to blogger stalk a few interesting people/characters on my radar. In the very soon to be future I hope to register a very large stack of my literary pieces. However... I have said that exact same thing before. When my work does get copyrighted I will be posting a few of them here before I choose an avenue to publish them all.

Until then I wish you all well and send oodles and oodles of warm hugs, all night dvd marathons, and the joys of marking the world your in as your own.

Lack Of Communication Amongst Other Things

As I am wondering how trustworthy the world I live in is, I want anyone who reads this blog to ask think about the same thing. Do you trust your neighbors? Like whole hearted trust? If there was a problem with your home, would you trust them to do what was necessary? Or would you find someone else to feed your kitten if you were stranded at the airport? With the world so technical now; how impersonal is your personal life?

I spend a lot of time on my laptop. From my email accounts to my school work. From my budding literary works to social networks like Facebook (which I don't like much) to Teamsugar (I adore) Sometimes I can be found on sites like Pogo, and other interesting places like YouTube or Hulu. How many people in the world are Ebay junkies? Whatever number your thinking of right now, it probably isn't enough. Which is kinda sad, don't you think. The way that we all live, so detached from nature and life is kinda sad. No not jut a little bit sad. Its really sad. Super sad. (No pun on SSuper Bad intended. Although I must say that it was a really good movie. So worth my $8.)
So in the name of mother nature, good work outs, natural doses of vitamin d, and wonderful communication habits/skills... Shouldn't we all be walking away from our computers, video game consoles, and lovely flat screen t.v.'s? Its the middle of the night where I am, but, tomorrow I'll be outside enjoying sunlight. The quality of American air or lack there of is a completely different post in the making.

The Songs That I Love Right Now

This is the second posting in what I hope to be a series of music themed posts. Today I want to blog about my taste in music. I'm the kind of woman who could like almost anything. Anything but hardcore country. However, just because I heard something twenty minutes ago and seemed to be alright with it, doesn't pan out to mean much. Tomorrow I might think little of the song or the artist. Moody me picks out her favorite things very very carefully. Right now I am very much into Nickleback's Gotta Be Somebody, T.i's Live Your Life,Whatever You Like,Dead and Gone (featuring J.T.), Swagger Like Us (featuring Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and Jay-Z), and other lovely things by Lady Gaga, AAR and a lot more.

In this 'moment' of happiness... I'm not going to list the songs that I would rather not listen to. The ones that I think I would prefer to cut out my own liver and eat it verses listening to such crap do not deserve a millisecond on this blog. That's how awful I think they are. On a day when musicians many to upset me; perhaps I will vent about for all of you. Until then... Rock out. Rock in. Rock anywhere you want!
I should be back here tomorrow with something yummy for you all to chew on.

Writing About Nothing Yet Everything

It amazes me that from experience I have so much to say, yet often say so little. I write a lot, not constantly, but, often enough to fill pages, computers, and my own mind with phrases, quips, poems, and lyrics. Sometimes those poems morph into full stories; most of which I have never finished. But, it is in my heart this year to finish every single story, song, poem, and key phrase that I start.

I don't really have anything to say about Valentines day. I mean I've said enough about it already in my other blog and this is my blog of works. Growing works. I really should start to copyright my arts so that I can post them here... I should also get right to my assignment that is due tonight before midnight. I really should have done it on Thursday or even yesterday. I just wasn't going to do anything that I did not want to do on my birthday (Friday. Yes I am a Friday the 13th baby. Lets get this out of the way now, yeah?)

For everyone who's eyes ever pass over this blog; may your upcoming week(s) be great.

My 2009 Desires For Music

In the year that is still to come, there are quite a few things that I want. Who does not have a super powered list for the new year? (like no one...) Anyway, if music was a person (one person) and I could ask him or her for anything that my heart desired; this would be my tiny little list of requests. For more fun, I would send that person a letter. In this letter below, I'm just going to go ahead and make Music a woman. Because ladies are everywhere.

Dear Music, thank you so much for reading this letter. I hope that the holidays have been good to you and your loved ones. As you know Miss Music there are quite a few things wrong with the music industry today. Below I have listed the things that I want to be changed. Thank you so so much in advance.

1. Punish those that behave badly. Adults are adults so they are way past tantrums and terrible behavior. Their first offense, depending on the severity of the act, gets a small tap on the wrist. A warning. The second offense, still depending on the severity of the act, gets a medium sized punishment. Not too harsh, but not exactly a timeout sort of thing either.
After that all the training wheels are off. Stupid acts should lead to musicians automatically having their rights to make music revoked. Those rights should be taken away until they stop behaving badly. When they have proven that they have learned their lesson and are ready to act like an adult; they should have their rights to work in music studios, make music videos, and be on television (especially live tv) restored.

2. Award shows. How many award shows does the public really need to be exposed to? This kind of goes beyond the music industry, so I know that there is only so much you can do... Still though, in my opinion there should be only a certain number of music award shows. Do VH1 and MTV really need to have different shows for that purpose? I don't think so. Considering that MTV is more popular than VH1, I say let them have that one.
The rest I leave to you since I am aware that there are different areas of interest. (like the Billboard Latin Music Awards and so forth)

3. Music videos. It is terrible that stations that were made with the intention to play music/music videos are now chock full of drama's that quite a few people don't care about. I for one do not care about the Hills. I know that many people are into shows like that, but, I and quite a few people are not. Yes, the internet is the new musical hero, but... Come ON!

4. The paparazzi. Need I say more?

For now that is the extent of my list. I did not want to put forth too much. Once again, thank you in advance.
